• ORDRSP - your confirmation, stating the quantities you can deliver.
• DESADV - the despatch advice, including pallet structure and SSCC labels.
• INVOIC - the invoice, matched against the order and the despatch advice.

Failure rarely happens at the connection stage, but rather due to master data: if your nomenclature is not correctly mapped to the retailer codes, every message generates an exception that requires manual resolution - exactly what you wanted to eliminate.
